A lot has been going on which includes various excursions into different territory as well as expansion of existing themes - all very busy. For those who have not been following our Ebay listings, this will help show more of the later work.

Take a look at our slideshow pictures, which cover a fascinating variety of hats and some examples of partlets, chemises and cuffs. Rather than number these images for now - if you should have a particular interest in one item, right click on the image and view image 'properties'. Note the filename of the image and then use that to mention to us in an inquiry so we can identify your item of interest if an order might be contemplated. Click on a thumbnail at the bottom of this page to see a corresponding slide show - the third and fourth examples are even more recent, where we have put further new assorted items, as they become available. NEW! - (Feb 2008) Another new slide show, this time with a different presentation which we rather like. In Internet Explorer it will give you a choice of transitions if you 'Start Slideshow' as against going by single click selections, and you can select timing of pic' changes too. One aspect we do like to remind people of is .... the time factor involved with some items - for instance crochered hats in particular are very labor intensive. For this reason not all items will be readily available unless if required, the requisite costing is acceptable. Not much we can't do but - despite the effects of cheap imports tainting folk's buying choices, nothing beats hand made.

Embroidery has become a big Thistlebees feature these days - and while it is done using a machine, it involves much preparation, plus time to expedite. A design requires drawing up and then digitizing to be useable in the machine - the value-added and individual element of embroidery is not to be lightly dismissed. Costing is based primarily on stitch count plus other time put in.
