Thistlebee's Bodices are usually a "made-to-order"
item, although, occasionally we do have
a few listed on Ebay. We are pleased to
now be able to show you some examples
here.
There are three styles: "Plain" Bodice
"Fancy-tail" Bodice with a pleated back
peplum and a "Full-Peplum" Bodice. All
three styles lace up the front with eyelets.
Leather, ribbon and woven (similar to
shoe lacing) are generally used for the
lacing. The type of lacing used will ultimately
be your choice. Two yards of fabric are
required for this bodice. (One for the
lining and one for the outer bodice).
Types of fabrics can vary, so please contact
us and we can discuss your preferences.

All bodices are lined, are close fitting
and can be "boned" for an additionally
fee, although this style seems to allow
ample support on it's own. Keep in mind
when ordering, that the waist size listed
is when the lacing is pulled together
tightly. The skirts you see featured are
all items we can also make for you.
